Greek Week

MIT's Greek Week began on April 25. This year, our chapter was teamed up with Alpha Epsilon Phi, Kappa Sigma, Theta Delta Chi, Delta Kappa Epsilon, Phi Kappa Theta, and Tau Epsilon Phi.

The week began with Jar Wars, a challenge to collect the most change for charity (and to avoid bills, which earned negative points). Our team won Jar Wars, and the event raised over $1700!

Greek Week continued with a barbecue on Thursday and a carnival on Friday. Our chapter celebrated Pi Beta Phi's Founder's Day on Saturday, while our team members were scoring points by attending the Greek Week keynote address and dodgeball tournament. On Sunday, we participated in a service event through the Charles River Conservancy, then finished the day with a cake-off competition. Pi Phi sisters entered three cakes, and won in the categories of Prettiest and Best Overall!

On Sunday night, the points were totaled, and our team was announced as the winner of Greek Week! Thanks to all of our team members, and to Panhel for organizing an amazing week!
